Golang Software Engineer

Join a team building the foundational technology layer that powers thousands of applications and engineering workloads. This role focuses on creating internal platform products that simplify infrastructure management, automate operational tasks, and provide engineers with a seamless self-service experience.

You'll work on complex distributed systems, cloud automation, container orchestration, and platform engineering challenges at scale.

What You'll Be Doing

As a backend engineer focused on platform services, you'll help develop a centralized control layer that abstracts away infrastructure complexity and enables development teams to provision, manage, and operate resources across multiple environments.

Key responsibilities include:

• Building backend services that manage infrastructure resources through APIs and automated workflows.
• Designing systems capable of handling large-scale orchestration, provisioning, and lifecycle management tasks.
• Developing event-driven and workflow-based automation solutions.
• Creating reusable platform capabilities consumed by engineering teams across the organization.
• Improving reliability, scalability, fault tolerance, and operational efficiency of platform services.
• Working closely with infrastructure, SRE, and product teams to define technical direction.
• Participating in architecture reviews and technical design discussions.
• Supporting production systems and driving continuous operational improvements.
• Establishing engineering standards through design reviews and code reviews.

What We're Looking For

Required

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong background building backend systems in Go, Python, or Java.
• Experience designing highly scalable distributed services.
• Hands-on experience operating and maintaining production applications.
• Solid understanding of system design, API development, and service-oriented architectures.
• Experience troubleshooting performance, reliability, and scalability issues.
• Strong Linux and networking fundamentals.
• Fluent communication skills in a collaborative engineering environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience building internal developer platforms or platform engineering tools.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes ecosystem technologies.
• Exposure to Infrastructure-as-Code and GitOps practices.
• Experience with workflow orchestration frameworks.
• Understanding of service mesh architectures.
• Familiarity with large-scale observability platforms.
• Experience operating systems across public cloud environments.
• Frontend experience for developer-facing tooling and portals.
