Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented Golang Developer to join our engineering team, responsible for building scalable, high-performance backend applications and microservices. This role is pivotal to enhancing our product offerings and driving innovation through robust coding solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain backend applications using Golang.
• Build scalable and reliable RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Develop concurrent applications using goroutines, channels, and Go concurrency patterns.
• Write clean, efficient, maintainable, and well-tested code.
• Work with SQL/NoSQL databases and optimize queries and data access.
• Integrate third-party services and internal APIs.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application and production issues.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to coding standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with Product, QA, DevOps, and other engineering teams.
• Containerize applications using Docker and support deployments using Kubernetes.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and production releases.
• Monitor application performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Participate in technical design and architecture discussions.

Requirements:

• 6+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Golang / Go.
• Good understanding of Go fundamentals, interfaces, error handling, packages, and standard libraries.
• Strong knowledge of goroutines, channels, concurrency, and multithreading.
• Experience developing REST APIs and microservices.
• Good understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms.
• Experience with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL/MySQL.
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases such as MongoDB/Redis is an advantage.
• Strong experience with Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Experience with unit testing and debugging.
• Good understanding of Linux/Unix environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with gRPC.
• Experience with Kafka/RabbitMQ/NATS or other messaging systems.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Exposure to AWS/Azure/GCP.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of distributed systems and cloud-native architecture.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology.
