About the Role
We are looking for a Coding Agent (Golang) – Freelancer to support advanced AI evaluation initiatives focused on backend engineering, distributed systems, and scalable software development.
In this role, you will work with AI-generated code outputs related to Golang programming, APIs, concurrency, system design, and cloud-native applications, helping improve how AI models generate and reason about production-quality software solutions.
You will collaborate with global AI and engineering teams to assess the correctness, scalability, and maintainability of AI-generated code. Your contributions will directly enhance AI systems used for coding assistance, backend development, and technical problem-solving.
Responsibilities
- Create deliverables addressing common requests within your professional domain, including backend workflows, API development, and optimization strategies
- Annotate and evaluate AI-generated Golang code responses across different software engineering scenarios
- Review peer-developed deliverables to enhance AI research quality and consistency
- Diagnose and solve real-world backend and systems programming challenges to improve AI reasoning capabilities
- Assess AI-generated code for correctness, scalability, concurrency handling, and performance
- Identify bugs, inefficient implementations, logical inconsistencies, or edge-case failures in AI-generated solutions and provide structured feedback
- Contribute domain expertise to improve AI models focused on Golang programming and distributed systems
Requirements
- Background in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Strong proficiency in Golang and backend software development
- Solid understanding of APIs, concurrency, distributed systems, and microservices architecture
- Experience with debugging, performance optimization, and scalable system design
- Familiarity with databases, cloud platforms, and containerized applications is preferred
- Ability to critically evaluate code quality, architecture, and engineering best practices
- Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment
