Duration: Flexible – 3, 6, or 12 months
About StairlessJourney.
At StairlessJourney, we aim to highlight accessibility in everyday
environments and promote inclusive spaces for persons with disabilities.
Our goal is to identify accessibility barriers, document accessible places, and
encourage cities to become more inclusive.
We are currently looking for a Research Intern who will support our work by
conducting research and helping build information around accessible and
non-accessible spaces.
Role Overview:
• Must be based in Goa.
• Someone who is good with research work and information gathering. •
Interested in accessibility, urban spaces, and inclusive environments. •
Detail-oriented with strong observation and documentation skills. •
Comfortable working independently in a remote environment. • Students
or freshers interested in social impact, research, or accessibility are
welcome.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct research on accessibility in public places in Goa. • Identify
and collect information about accessibility features in different
locations.
• Review websites, maps, and online resources to gather accessibility-related
data.
• Organize and document research findings clearly.
• Support the team in building accessibility-related databases or reports.
