About the Role
We are looking for a Go Software Engineer – Testing & Code Evaluation (Freelancer) to support advanced AI evaluation initiatives focused on backend engineering, code quality assessment, and software testing workflows.
In this role, you will work with AI-generated outputs related to Golang programming, unit testing, debugging, APIs, concurrency, and scalable backend systems, helping improve how AI models generate, validate, and optimize production-quality software solutions.
You will collaborate with global AI and engineering teams to assess the correctness, reliability, scalability, and maintainability of AI-generated code. Your contributions will directly enhance AI systems used for coding assistance, automated testing, and software engineering workflows.
Responsibilities
- Create deliverables addressing common requests within your professional domain, including testing workflows, debugging strategies, and backend optimization approaches
- Annotate and evaluate AI-generated Golang code responses across different software engineering scenarios
- Review peer-developed deliverables to enhance AI research quality and consistency
- Diagnose and solve real-world backend development and testing challenges to improve AI reasoning capabilities
- Assess AI-generated code for correctness, scalability, performance, maintainability, and test coverage
- Identify bugs, inefficient implementations, logical inconsistencies, concurrency issues, or edge-case failures in AI-generated solutions and provide structured feedback
- Contribute domain expertise to improve AI models focused on Golang development, testing systems, and code intelligence
Requirements
- Background in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Strong proficiency in Golang and backend software development
- Experience with unit testing, debugging, code review, and software validation workflows
- Strong understanding of APIs, concurrency, distributed systems, and backend architecture
- Familiarity with testing frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, databases, and version control systems such as Git
- Ability to critically evaluate code quality, software architecture, and engineering best practices
- Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment
