Job Summary
We are seeking a seasoned Data Center Network Strategy Consultant to lead strategic planning for next-generation data center infrastructures. You will evaluate existing data center fabrics, recommend modernization paths, and develop roadmaps that optimize for density, latency, power efficiency, and resilience. The ideal candidate combines deep data center expertise with consulting skills to deliver strategies to clients that reduce TCO and enable business agility.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform in-depth assessments of data center networks, including spine-leaf architectures, top-of-rack switching, and interconnects for multi-site fabrics.
- Design strategic roadmaps for data center evolution, integrating 400G/800G Ethernet, RDMA, liquid cooling, and sustainable power systems.
- Collaborate with C-suite executives, managers, and engineering teams to align network strategies with capacity planning, migration to liquid-cooled DCs, and hybrid cloud integration.
- Lead client workshops, RFx evaluations for DC vendors (e.g., Arista, NVIDIA, Schneider Electric), and PoCs for high-performance fabrics.
- Analyze trends in AI-driven workloads, edge data centers, and regulations (e.g., carbon reporting) to recommend future-proof designs.
- Build financial models projecting ROI on DC expansions, including CapEx/OpEx for power, cooling, and network upgrades.
- Mentor junior analysts and contribute to thought leadership on data center whitepapers and conferences.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with GPU clustering for AI, and sustainable DC designs (e.g., PUE optimization), zero-trust DC security.
- Background in hyperscale, colocation, or financial services data centers.
- Deep expertise in data center strategy, fleet operations, infrastructure consulting, and cloud transformation.
- Proficiency in DC modeling tools (e.g., 6Wind, Visio) and methodologies like TOGAF for enterprise architecture.
- Proven ability to present complex DC strategies to non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Telecommunication, Computer Science or related field; Master's or MBA preferred.
- 5+ years in data center networking, architecture, or consulting, with hands-on experience in enterprise or hyperscale environments.
- Certifications: CDCP/CCNP Data Center/CCIE Data Center, Arista ACE, or equivalent (e.g., NVIDIA Networking, DCIM certifications).
