Job Description

AP Guru is looking for an experienced and passionate GMAT, GRE & SAT Verbal Tutor to help students excel in standardized test verbal sections. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in English, reading comprehension, grammar, vocabulary, and critical reasoning, along with experience teaching standardized tests in an online environment.

Responsibilities

Conduct online GMAT, GRE and SAT Verbal/English classes.
Teach reading comprehension, grammar, vocabulary, critical reasoning, rhetoric, and test-specific strategies.
Develop structured lesson plans and assign targeted practice work.
Analyze student performance and identify areas for improvement.
Provide detailed, constructive feedback on student work and practice tests.
Track student progress and help students work toward their target scores.
Conduct doubt-solving sessions and provide personalized academic support when required.
Adapt teaching methods based on individual student needs and performance.
Familiarize students with exam formats, question types, time-management techniques, and test-taking strategies.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in English, Education, Literature, Communications, or a related field.
Prior experience teaching GMAT, GRE, SAT, or other standardized tests is preferred.
Strong command of English grammar, reading comprehension, vocabulary, writing, and critical reasoning.
Strong understanding of standardized test question patterns and strategies.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience teaching online using Zoom or similar platforms.
Excellent student engagement, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Ability to analyze student performance and provide targeted academic guidance.

Job Details

Type: Full-Time, Remote
Working Hours: 8 hours per day within 6:00–9:00 AM IST and 4:00–10:00 PM IST
Schedule: 6 days per week
Weekly Off: Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday
