Job Description

Role purpose: Build & scale up quality postpaid acquisitions agenda for the cluster, by spearheading the ViMS and Outbound sales agenda . The purpose of the role is drive the postpaid net add and revenue enhancement agenda through the ViMS and Outbound channel

Key accountabilities and decision ownership :

  1. Achieve acquisition net of churnas per DB for all segment – Consumer , Digital , Enterprise (SOHO/ SME), IOIP , large accounts etc
  2. Drive and sustain engagement for team members ( ARLs and FLs ) of the cluster to facilitate delivery on key organizational goals and KRAs
  3. Design the ViMS channel in terms of towns to be covered and the right count of ViMS in these towns
  4. Supervise and enhance productivity of the ViMS channel of the cluster – by partnering with the ARLs and FLs
  5. Appointment of DSAs in key identified markets of the cluster and tracking / driving DSA productivity
  6. Driving the postpaid agenda through the CSP / DST / Outbound channel by supervising recruitment , training and productivity
  7. Planning for activities to drive IOIP sales
  8. Driving business through the Neo channel by supervising adherence to norms like same day calling / O2A % etc ( for markets where Neo delivery is through ViMS and CSP / DST Channel )
  9. Tracking competition activities and being updated on key market developments
  10. Drive Innovation and automation in the ViMS and OB channel with the intent to beat competition on sustained basis

Core competencies, knowledge and experience:

  • 10+ years of experience in Channel Sales & Distribution in B2B & B2C environment
  • Experience in Franchisee / DSA / DST management
  • Operation excellence & team handling
  • Problem solving, strategic & analytical capabilities
  • Process improvement mind set
  • Ability to coordinate with and influence other functions for alignment on priorities related to the ViMS & outbound vertical

Must have technical / professional qualifications:

  • Desired : MBA
  • Needed : Channel Sales Management

Key performance indicators:

  • Overall Postpaid Gross Add & Net Add for consumer , IOIP and Enterprise – as per budget targets
  • Team engagement and motivation
  • Channel partner appointment & Productivity as per DB
  • Appointment and productivity of the outbound channel – DSAs / DSTs / CSPs
