Key Responsibilities
Quality Control Management
- Enable Project teams to comply with customer requirements related to finish product quality.
- Ensure that finishes work done on-site meets specifications and complies with national and international standards and best practices.
- Periodic audits of projects to ensure compliance with all relevant standards, e.g., tender documents, specifications, method statements with respect to finishing and give ratings to projects.
- Prepare and deploy method statements, inspection, and test plans for finishing works.
Design Collaboration
- Assist the Design team in conducting DFMEA (Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) and Constructability in Design workshops.
- Ensure that conflicts related to Design and Execution are resolved proactively, and design intent is met.
- Advise Projects team and other internal stakeholders on the type of finishing materials for upcoming projects and participate in material selection and inspection.
- Provide design standardization support.
Supplier And Material Management
- Identify, evaluate, and qualify suppliers/sub-contractors for materials selection and mock-ups/sample flats authentication.
- Conduct factory inspections of finishing materials and participate in Vendor Empanelment and Selection.
- Generate and maintain a data bank of literature, product data sheets, and other brochures related to finishes works.
Handover Assurance
- Ensure implementation of handover assurance plan on all handover sites
- Check, monitor, and analyse the type of snags raised by Project, Quality, CRM, and Customer. Take preventive action on repetitive snags and prepare a report, sharing the learnings.
Mock-Ups And Benchmarking
- Ensure First Time Right; guide the work force through mock ups & trainings prior to start of an activity
- Analyse finishing-related issues and deploy Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) through the facilitation and involvement of all internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure implementation of learnings, latest innovations in the industry, and collate data for development.
- Benchmark competition for best practices.
Training And Expertise
- Conduct trainings for projects team on all topics related to finishing.
- Provide expertise and assistance to project teams pertaining to finishing works.
- Co-ordinate with specialized agencies and vendors for organizing seminars and workshops related to finishes works.
