Key Responsibilities
- Lead Sales and Marketing operations for the Acute and Multispecialty segment
- Manage a field force of approximately 600 employees and a business volume of around INR 350 Crores
- Drive achievement of sales targets, business growth, and high productivity metrics including PCPM
- Plan and execute successful new product launches, new molecule introductions, and innovative promotional strategies
- Strengthen and grow existing brands through effective lifecycle management
- Recruit, train, and develop a complete sales and marketing team for new divisions
- Build strong leadership capability across the organization through effective people management and coaching
- Own and manage P&L, including budgeting, topline growth, and bottom-line profitability
- Develop and execute strategic business plans aligned with organizational objectives
- Ensure effective distribution management, administration control, and execution excellence across regions
Desired Candidate Profile
- Graduate in Science or Pharmacy with an MBA in Sales and Marketing
- 20 to 25 years of experience in Pharmaceutical Sales and Marketing
- Minimum 3 to 4 years of experience as GM, Sr. GM Sales & Marketing, or SBU Head
- Strong exposure to Acute and Multispecialty segments, based at Mumbai
- Proven capability in handling large teams, P&L ownership, and strategic leadership
- Strong experience in launching new products, new molecules, and executing innovative promotion strategies
- Demonstrated success in recruitment, training, and development of large sales teams
- Strong strategic thinking, execution capability, and administrative control
