Job Description

As Head of Finance, the candidate will be responsible for leading the overall finance, accounts and commercial finance function for the business.

Key responsibilities will include financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, MIS, cost control, taxation, audits, treasury, working capital management, statutory compliance and internal controls.

The role will also involve partnering with business, plant and operations teams to improve profitability, monitor project / order margins, optimise inventory and receivables, strengthen systems and processes, and support strategic decision-making for growth.

The incumbent will be expected to provide strong leadership to the finance team and act as a trusted advisor to senior management

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate should be a qualified Chartered Accountant / finance professional with strong experience in manufacturing, engineering, metals, capital goods, industrial products, EPC or project-driven businesses.

They should have hands-on exposure to taxation, working capital, financial controls, audits, taxation, budgeting, plant finance, costing and business partnering.

The candidate should be commercially sharp, process-oriented and capable of working closely with operations and leadership teams.

Prior experience in leading finance teams, managing complex stakeholder relationships, improving systems / controls and supporting business growth will be highly preferred.

Experience of 15+ years is required.
