We are hiring for the profile of GM- Consolidation & Working Capital, Cash Flow Management for Delhi location
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE : Qualified CA with 15+ years of experience in in Finance & Accounts, consolidation and working capital management in a group structure
Budget: 64 LPA (including variable)
JOB PURPOSE
The GM is responsible for managing the consolidated financial reporting and statutory compliance. The role also leads the cash flow planning, working capital optimization, LC discounting, and fund deployment strategies for efficient capital utilization. This position acts as the primary point of contact for auditors, board presentations, investor communications, and group-level coordination,entities, group structure and assest various due dilligences and corporate initiatives . This position would also be responsible to laterally take data from controllers at a sector level.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
1) Financial Consolidation & Reporting
- Lead the preparation and consolidation of financial statements for Group and its subsidiaries in accordance with IND-AS and other applicable regulatory frameworks.
- Supervise the creation of Notes to Accounts, audit schedules, and variance reports.
- Act as the single point of contact for statutory and tax auditors resolve queries, manage timelines, and ensure zero non- compliance.
- Review and support tax return filings and tax audits across all entities.
- Provide data support for board and audit committee presentations, investor relations, and regulatory submissions.
2) Working Capital, Cash Flow & Treasury Management
- Monitor and optimize cash flows, working capital cycles, and fund utilization for group and operating subsidiaries
- Coordinate with plant heads, coal teams, CEO/CFO for planning and execution of cash flow to support operational requirements.
- Maximize drawing power (DP) and utilization of non-fund-based limits (e.g., LC, BG, Usance LC) for thermal SPVs through effective negotiation with banks.
- Guide investment of surplus funds in treasury instruments, mutual funds, and other approved avenues.
- Working capital utilization metrics (DSO, DPO, cash conversion cycle)
3) Valuation, Impairment & Financial Modeling
- Review impairment models for subsidiaries and consolidate for Energy sector valuations.
- Review and validate financial models for investment decisions, long-term valuation tracking, and investor discussions.
- Conduct scenario analysis and financial stress testing across SPVs and new business initiatives
4) Business Planning, AOP & MIS
- Lead AOP (Annual Operating Plan) preparation for the group, renewable companies, and energy entities, integrating operational and financial metrics.
- Design and drive monthly MIS reporting for senior management, with insights on revenue, EBITDA, asset performance, and capex.
- Prepare liquidity reports, bank position updates, and investor- related presentations
- Identify cash flow gaps and proactively manage working capital levers to maintain financial flexibility.
