Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced
GM Client Relations Business Acquisition to lead strategic client engagement and drive revenue growth in the events and event-tech ecosystem. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building strong enterprise relationships, managing the end-to-end sales cycle, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver innovative event solutions that meet client objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development Revenue Ownership
- Drive revenue growth by building and managing a strong opportunity pipeline across enterprise events, exhibitions, and large-format engagements.
- Manage the complete sales lifecycle including discovery meetings, requirement analysis, solutioning, proposal development, presentations, and deal closures.
- Act as the primary product evangelist during client pitches, presentations, and industry events.
Client Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate closely with technology, operations, onboarding, and client servicing teams to ensure seamless execution and customer satisfaction.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to clients by recommending tailored event and technology solutions aligned with their business objectives.
- Ensure smooth transition from sales to delivery by aligning internal teams on project scope, timelines, and expectations.
Product Strategy Innovation
- Provide structured, data-driven feedback to product teams to enhance platform capabilities and user experience.
- Work with product and technology teams to drive innovation, feature enhancements, and platform improvements.
- Support internal teams (sales, creative, and client servicing) with effective messaging and positioning for proposals and RFP responses.
Required Qualifications
- MBA / PGDM or equivalent degree in Marketing, Business, or Communications .
- 15-18 years of experience in event technology, enterprise events, SaaS platforms, B2B solutioning, or client servicing roles.
- Hands-on experience with event-tech platforms or enterprise event workflows is highly preferred.
