A Glueing Operator is responsible for applying adhesives to non-ferrous components (such as aluminum, copper, or brass parts) as per production requirements. The role ensures proper bonding, quality standards, and timely completion of assigned work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Apply adhesive (glue) on non-ferrous materials as per work instructions
- Ensure proper surface cleaning before glue application
- Operate glue dispensing tools / machines safely
- Maintain correct quantity and uniform application of glue
- Assemble components after glueing process
- Check bonding strength and quality of finished parts
- Follow production targets and deadlines
- Maintain cleanliness in work area (5S standards)
- Report defects or issues to supervisor immediately
Skills & Requirements:
- Basic knowledge of glueing / bonding process
- Ability to handle non-ferrous materials carefully
- Understanding of safety practices (PPE usage)
- Attention to detail and quality focus
- Basic reading skills (work instructions / drawings preferred)
- Experience in manufacturing or assembly is an added advantage
Qualification:
- ITI / Diploma / 10th / 12th Pass
- Freshers can apply (training will be provided)
Experience:
- 1 - 5 years in manufacturing / assembly / glueing work.
