Job Description

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field.

  • 3+ years of experience with Oracle GL, FDMEE, and financial data interfaces.
  • Familiarity with Findur or similar trading systems is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of GL accounting concepts, journal entries, and financial controls.
  • Experience with data mapping, transformation rules, and error resolution in FDMEE.
  • Proficient in Excel, with good analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with month-end close and reporting processes.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Preferred Skills:
  • Working knowledge of scripting in FDMEE (Jython, SQL).
  • Exposure to Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) or other EPM tools.
  • Understanding of energy/commodities trading data (if relevant to Findur usage).
  • Familiarity with ITSM tools like ServiceNow for incident management.

Job Summary

Looking for a detail-oriented and process-driven GLP Analyst to manage and streamline the data load process from Findur to FDMEE (Financial Data Quality Management, Enterprise Edition) and into Oracle General Ledger (GL). The candidate will ensure timely and accurate posting of financial transactions, resolve load failures, perform reconciliations, and support period-end close activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute and monitor the data load process from Findur to FDMEE and into Oracle GL on a regular schedule.
  • Validate source data mappings and transformation logic in FDMEE to ensure data integrity.
  • Investigate and resolve data load failures, mapping issues, or transformation errors promptly.
  • Liaise with Finance, IT, and other stakeholders for issue resolution and enhancements.
  • Maintain audit trails and documentation for data loads and reconciliation processes.
  • Support month-end and year-end financial close processes, including posting journals and validating trial balances.
  • Develop and maintain SOPs for all GLP activities and data flows.
  • Perform UAT for system enhancements and coordinate with cross-functional teams for deployment.
  • Provide support during internal and external audits, ensuring completeness and accuracy of the data loaded to GL.
  • Continuously review and improve controls and automation around the GLP process.
