What You'll Do
User Research & Analysis:
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative user research to understand user needs, behaviors, and pain points.
- Develop insights that inform and evaluate design recommendations, ensuring they are grounded in evidence and aligned with business objectives.
- Analyze user feedback and usage data to inform design decisions.
Prototyping & Design Execution:
- Create the necessary assets to evaluate product design recommendations, including low-fidelity conceptual prototypes and high-fidelity designs and interaction flows.
- Work closely with Product Owners and Developers to ensure seamless handoffs and execution of design solutions.
- Contribute to our design systems which enhance consistency and scalability across platforms.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with product owners, engineers, and other stakeholders to define and implement innovative solutions from product discovery through MVP to scale.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs are feasible and align with technical constraints.
- Engage with senior leadership, showcasing UX work and evidencing the contributions your research and design work have made to the team's broader strategic initiatives.
Testing & Iteration:
- Conduct Usability Testing and gather feedback to refine and improve designs.
- Iterate on designs based on user feedback and analytics to enhance the user experience.
Innovation & Trends:
- Stay updated with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies.
- Advocate for and implement best practices in user-centered design and Lean UX.
Measuring Impact & Continuous Improvement:
- Define and implement quantitative and qualitative metrics (based on our existing Value Measurement framework to evaluate the effectiveness and business impact of your product designs.
- Iterate on designs based on user feedback, business insights, and emerging industry trends.
- Champion design best practices, accessibility standards, and innovation to elevate the overall quality of our digital products and service experiences.
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Product Design, HCI/Design, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 6 years of commercial experience in Product Design preferably in a large, global enterprise.
- A strong understanding of the unique demands of a global, market-leading management consultancy firm.
- Proven ability to define, execute, and measure product design strategies that scale globally.
- Proven experience in research and analysis to create actionable insights.
- Expertise in user research methodologies, data-informed design, and customer experience strategy.
- Practical knowledge of iterative design methods and processes that follow a Lean UX approach.
- Experience designing AI-powered products, strong understanding of human-AI interaction principles, designing conversational interfaces, and ability to translate complex AI capabilities and constraints into intuitive, user-centered design solutions.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma and other prototyping tools.
- Proficient in operating across all stages of the design lifecycle from product discovery to delivery.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience presenting to senior leadership.
- Practical knowledge of working within product software development team with a deep understanding of agile, scrum and design thinking.
- A track record of influencing and driving business decisions through compelling design narratives and measurable impact
Skills:
- Expertise in mixed methods across generative and evaluative research, including surveys, interviews and usability testing using tools such as Dovetail, Maze and UserTesting.com.
- Expertise in user journey mapping, needs and sentiment analysis.
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma and other design tools
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Comprehensive understanding of usability and accessibility standards across web, mobile and responsive platforms.
- Experience working in enterprise-level, B2B, or professional services environments.
- Familiarity with design systems, accessibility standards, and inclusive design principles.
