Associate Director, Global Transaction Banking (Japanese Speaking)
Our client is a well-established International Bank in Singapore. They are looking for an experienced Transaction Banking professional to manage and grow relationships with the APAC corporate and financial institution clients with Japanese market focus.
The role will work closely with Corporate & Investment Banking and local market teams to provide clients with comprehensive transaction banking solutions across multiple markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and strengthen relationships with corporate and financial institution clients.
- Act as the main Transaction Banking contact for key APAC clients.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in Japanese market while growing existing relationships
- Provide solutions across cash management, liquidity management, payments, receivables, trade and working capital, FX, and digital banking.
- Work closely with product specialists and internal teams to develop tailored solutions for clients.
- Build relationships with senior stakeholders including CFOs, Treasurers, Finance Directors and Controllers.
- Lead client discussions, business reviews and presentations on transaction banking solutions.
- Partner with internal teams across Corporate Banking, Treasury, Risk, Operations and other functions.
- Ensure all activities comply with relevant risk, regulatory and credit requirements.
- Contribute to team development and coach junior team members.
Requirements
- Min 8 years of experience in Transaction Banking, Cash Management, Liquidity Management, Trade & Working Capital, Corporate Banking or Global Banking.
- Strong knowledge of transaction banking products, credit, risk and pricing.
- Proven track record in business development and achieving sales targets in Japanese market
- Experience working with international or APAC clients.
- Strong understanding of treasury and cash management solutions.
- Bachelor's degree, MBA or equivalent.
- Fluent in Japanese and English
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with stakeholders across different markets.
