Key Responsibilities
1. Supplier Performance Management
- Establish and execute a structured supplier performance management framework.
- Conduct annual performance reviews of strategic global equipment suppliers.
- Benchmark suppliers and define gap mitigation action plans.
- Maintain and update preferred supplier panels for upcoming sourcing activities.
- Drive performance assessment aligned with purchasing and industrial engineering teams.
- Lead supplier performance surveys, including self-assessments and cross-functional evaluations.
2. Technology Scouting & Innovation
- Build global networks with strategic suppliers, institutes, and universities.
- Identify and evaluate emerging manufacturing technologies.
- Support feasibility, maturity assessment, and release of new processes.
- Develop and align validation plans for new technologies with the technology roadmap.
3. Supplier Development & Future Growth
- Analyze and define strategic capabilities of equipment suppliers for future business needs.
- Conduct gap analysis of supplier competencies and define improvement roadmaps.
- Contribute to future product and manufacturing concepts within acquisition/innovation teams.
4. Sourcing & Industrialization Support
- Support sourcing decisions for new equipment and special process suppliers.
- Ensure alignment between supplier capabilities and manufacturing requirements.
- Contribute to establishing global production standards and multi-use equipment strategies.
5. Issue Resolution & Supplier Governance
- Drive deviation management and problem-solving with key suppliers globally.
- Manage supplier-related issues across the lifecycle—from sourcing to phase-out.
6. Stakeholder & Network Management
- Build and maintain strong global relationships with strategic suppliers.
- Collaborate across production plants, purchasing, and engineering teams.
- Promote sustainable, long-term partnerships aligned with collaboration principles.

Education & Experience
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial or related field)
- 12–20 years of experience in supplier development, manufacturing engineering, or technology management
- Experience working with global suppliers and cross-cultural teams
- Exposure to equipment sourcing and industrialization processes preferred
