- Proactively advise clients on market conditions, realistic salary benchmarks, candidate availability, and effective hiring strategies unique to each geographic market.
- Manage ongoing client relationships to generate repeat business and referrals, building a warm, sustainable desk over time.
Advanced Candidate Sourcing and Engagement
- Execute sophisticated talent mapping and headhunting strategies across LinkedIn, GitHub, Stack Overflow, niche job boards, and your own established network to identify passive candidates who are not actively applying to job adverts.
- Craft compelling, personalised outreach that resonates with top-tier tech professionals in the competitive UK, North American, and Canadian markets.
- Build and maintain a rich, diverse, and constantly updated pipeline of pre-qualified candidates across key technology verticals, including but not limited to Software Engineering, Cloud & DevOps, Data Science & Machine Learning, Cybersecurity, Product Management, and IT Leadership.
Rigorous Screening and Assessment
- Conduct in-depth, structured screening interviews to accurately assess technical competencies, soft skills, career motivations, notice periods, salary expectations, and right-to-work status for the relevant country.
- Prepare detailed, insightful candidate submission packs that go beyond a standard CV, adding genuine value for the client and significantly increasing shortlist rates.
Full Lifecycle Process and Close Management
- Coordinate complex, multi-stage interview processes across multiple time zones, ensuring a seamless, professional experience for both client and candidate.
- Conduct thorough interview debriefs, manage feedback loops, and address objections proactively.
- Lead offer negotiations with confidence, balancing client budget parameters with candidate expectations to successfully close the deal.
- Manage counter-offer scenarios professionally and provide robust post-placement follow-up to ensure long-term retention and client satisfaction.
Market Intelligence and Personal Branding
- Maintain a continuous finger on the pulse of the UK, USA, and Canadian technology job markets, tracking industry trends, salary fluctuations, in-demand skills, and emerging technologies.

Who You Are (Essential Requirements)
To be successful and start earning handsome commissions quickly in this independent, fully remote role, you will need:
- Minimum 4 Years of Proven Tech Recruitment Experience: This is non-negotiable. You must have at least four full years of agency or independent recruitment experience focused exclusively or predominantly on technology roles. Experience in internal/HR recruitment without agency closing experience is not a fit for this commission-based model.
- Specific Multi-Geography Expertise: You must clearly demonstrate a track record of successfully placing candidates in permanent or contract roles in all three markets: the United Kingdom, the United States, and Canada.
