Global System Infrastructure Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Global System Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for developing, maintaining, continuously improving, and supporting our IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, networks, and telecom systems.

He / She will be providing expert infrastructure oversight, ensuring successful delivery and performance of IT services for our clients and the fulfillment of our obligations and Service Level Targets

Infrastructure Management through Windows Server, Citrix, Citrix Cloud, VMware Virtualization and Cloud administration/architecture.

Designing and Implementing Citrix, Windows, VMware, Citrix Cloud, Azure and OCI solutions.

Planning and execution of migration from on-prem to cloud

Performing scheduled/on-demand DR tests

Working on Azure IAAS products (Compute, Storage, Backup, Networking, Management using Azure Monitor & Network Watcher, Azure VMware Solution, etc.), Azure Migrate, Azure Site Recovery

Working on OCI IAAS products (Compute, Storage, Backup, Networking, Policies, etc.), OCI Logging, Monitoring and Observability

Windows Server hardening, remediation.

Working on Infrastructure as a Code using Terraform for Azure and OCI

Performance tuning and enhancement of infrastructure components in scope

Troubleshooting high priority/escalated issues

Vendor coordination for break fix, upgrades, service review and best practices

Managing daily operations and team

Looking for cost optimizations

Preparing and demonstrating POC

Reporting

Capacity Planning and forecasting

Migrations

Troubleshooting

REQUIREMENTS

The candidate must have at least 10 years of relevant experience in IT Infrastructure.

Main Skills

Windows Server 2012 R2, 2016, 2019, 2022, 2025.

Citrix DAAS (Azure)

Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktop 2203 or later

VMware vSphere 6.x, 7.x, 8.x

Azure Administration

OCI Administration.

Patching through WSUS and SCCM.

Team-oriented and skilled in working within an international collaborative environment.

Skilled in leading meetings internally and with clients / suppliers.

Ability to communicate across all levels of the organization and work with diverse project teams.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and time-management skills
