Meta is seeking a Global Supply Chain Operations Manager to support the supply chain operations of complex technical components and materials that power our hardware and infrastructure products. In this role, you will manage supplier relationships, work cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and finance teams to ensure supply continuity, cost competitiveness, and quality standards across Meta's product portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Manage suppliers to ensure supply continuity, competitive pricing, and alignment with product quality requirements
- Collaborate with hardware engineering and product teams to influence component selection and design-for-supply decisions early in the product development cycle
- Manage supplier scorecards and conduct regular business reviews to track delivery performance, quality metrics, and capacity planning
- Support new product introductions by coordinating supplier readiness, sample procurement, and ramp planning across cross-functional teams
- Monitor commodity market trends, supply chain risks, and geopolitical factors that may impact sourcing strategy and proactively develop mitigation plans
- Partner with legal, finance, planning, and sourcing teams to ensure that supplier execution meets contracts, payment terms, business, and compliance requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in technical commodity management, or supply chain management within the electronics, semiconductor, or hardware manufacturing industry
- Experience in ensuring supply chain continuity and product quality requirements
- Experience conducting supplier assessments, cost modeling, or total cost of ownership analysis for hardware components
- Experience collaborating with engineering, product development, finance, and sourcing teams in securing the supply chain
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews)
- Demonstrated ability to develop multi-source supply strategies and manage supply risk across global supplier networks
- Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies
- Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)
- Experience using supply chain management or procurement platforms to manage supplier data, purchase orders, and contract workflows
- Familiarity with semiconductor supply chains, PCB assemblies, or mechanical and optical components used in hardware manufacturing
