Job Description:

The opportunity:

Supply Chain Analytics work includes Performing complex analytics and statistical modelling on large data sets to optimize supply chain operations workflow, reduce costs, and increase efficiency. Applying mathematical, statistical, and economic techniques to determine and forecast the cost/availability of raw materials, customer demand, production capacity, availability of cost-effective shipping, etc. Creating data mining architectures/models/protocols, statistical reporting, and data analysis methodologies to identify Supply Chain operations improvements and simulate the impact of proposed initiatives.

How you'll make an impact:

  • Develop, lead, and maintain databases for Supply Management operations (financial, operational, contractual, and quality) in alignment with BU requirements.
  • Coordinate and prepare monthly progress reports for all Supply Management data.
  • Develop and implement the Supplier Base Analysis (SBA) Matrix and integrate it into a Power BI dashboard tracking supplier savings, inflation, and other financial/operational metrics.
  • Manage KPIs related to supply chain and supplier performance.
  • Create and maintain automated dashboards, reports, and data models using Celonis and Power BI to track financial and operational performance, including supply quality and sustainability.
  • Support SCM digitalization initiatives by analyzing existing databases, proposing improvements, and identifying synergies with central Hitachi Energy databases.
  • Train users on new tools, dashboards, and data management processes to ensure effective adoption and continuous improvement.
  • Support the SCM budget process by preparing templates, coordinating data collection at factory/Hub level, and performing analysis and reporting for BU management decisions.
  • Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background:

  • Should have education of bachelor's or master's degree in technical / data sciences / business discipline.
  • At least 3 - 8 years of experience in Complex Data Analysis, Data Visualization, and Data Reporting
  • Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
