The Procurement Operations Analyst supports our company's Global Sourcing & Procurement (GSP) function by executing core procurement activities, maintaining data accuracy, and assisting with issue resolution across purchasing operations. This role helps ensure end users can efficiently procure goods and services, supports basic analytics, and collaborates with internal partners and suppliers to maintain a smooth Procure‑to‑Pay (P2P) process.
This position is an entry‑to‑intermediate–level role designed for associates developing foundational procurement knowledge and growing toward more independent operational and analytical responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Support & Transaction Processing
- Process procurement requisitions and ensure purchases follow established sourcing channels and preferred suppliers.
- Support supplier setup activities, PO creation, and basic transactional troubleshooting.
- Assist with monitoring daily work queues and escalating issues where needed.
Issue Resolution & Customer Support
- Serve as a first‑line contact for end users to resolve routine procurement or system questions.
- Partner with Accounts Payable, category teams, and business requestors to resolve invoice, PO, or supplier discrepancies.
Data Integrity & Reporting
- Maintain accuracy of procurement data, logs, and basic reporting related to spend, requisition activity, or supplier metrics.
- Assist in tracking operational defects, errors, and trends for continuous improvement.
Systems & Process Support
- Gain proficiency in procurement systems and help identify minor user issues or improvement opportunities.
- Participate in small‑scale initiatives to enhance S2P workflows and support standardization across the P2P process.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field preferred.
- 0–3 years of experience in a business, operations, procurement, finance, or AP‑related function a plus.
Skills & Capabilities
- Foundational understanding of procurement or P2P concepts; willingness to develop deeper expertise.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes.
- Basic analytical skills; comfort with Excel and data tracking.
- Strong communication and customer‑service orientation.
- Ability to learn new systems quickly and adapt to evolving technologies.
Preferred
- Exposure to SAP, Ariba, Coupa, Oracle, or Workday.
- Experience supporting supplier onboarding or transactional quality reviews.
