Job Summary

The Global Solution Owner C&R (Consolidation & Reporting) acts as the primary Business Partner for Finance functions in Consolidation, Product Margin Calculation, Reporting, and Analytics. In this role, you will serve as the IT functional lead, collaborating closely with Business Teams, Technology Teams, and Business Process Owners (BPO) to drive functional and process-related discussions.

You will hold active governance and technical ownership of solutions in the Consolidation & Reporting area (e.g., SAP Finance Reporting & Analytics Core governance), working alongside Business and Technical Delivery Teams to shape, prioritize, and realize technology evolution. Developing and defining the technology direction, strategy, and roadmap for Finance Consolidation and Product Margin solutions aligned with the overall SAP Finance Reporting & Analytics strategy and in cooperation with relevant Platform and Architecture Teams-is a key component of this role.

Your Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Define, align (with Business leads and within Technology teams) and support building technology delivery strategy for Finance consolidation, product margin calculation, reporting and analytics solutions with an aim of bringing cutting-edge innovation, process standardization with high focus on user experience, automation and efficiency improvements.
  • Ensure on time, within budget and quality delivery of portfolio in a compliant manner in line with Business expectations and Technology strategy
  • Continuously improve the solutions to meet the ongoing business requirements and optimize the costs to have an improved TCO
  • Own the design of innovative, fit-for-purpose, reusable and scalable assets in C&R business area and steer deployment with delivery teams following Business priorities to generate the desired Business outcome
  • Run the established governance structure for projects with right stakeholder representation in area of responsibility. Support overall establishment of corresponding governance structures in SAP Finance & Analytics team
  • Track, report and deliver against agreed success factors and KPIs for various stakeholders in Technology and Finance Business
  • Provide transparent and accurate project/program/portfolio management and reporting. Own program/project status, issues and risks in area of responsibility. Manage risks and issues through appropriate channels / tools with focus on setting and tracking actions, ownership, and comprehensive risk management.
  • Collaborate and Ensure operational services / enhancements are effectively delivered in the area of responsibility
  • Collaborate effectively with other teams, Technology Functions and Domains in the organization, as well as strategic suppliers providing services.

Essential Requirements

What you'll bring to the role:

  • 10+ years of experience in program/project delivery and application portfolio management within SAP BI space (e.g. BW/BI/BPC, SAC, BDC, BW/4HANA) with special focus on Finance, in multinational organizations.
  • Strong technical skills in SAP BW/BI/BPC, SAC and ideally in BDC, BW/4HANA, Datasphere, Databricks
  • Proven experience in Group wide financial consolidation processes, product margin calculation, and reporting & analytics
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership, people management experience and team-building skills.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and drive change and innovation.
  • Experience in managing global SAP related projects and working in diverse cultural environments.
  • Proficiency in using advanced software tools and platforms relevant to the job.
  • Experience with ITIL frameworks and other service management methodologies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology Business Administration, or related field; (Master's degree is preferred) or adequate/comparable alternative education/documented experience
  • Certification in SAP BI and analytics area (e.g. SAC, BDC, BW/4HANA, BI/BPC, etc.) or proven/documented expertise in SAP BI/Analytics area
  • Education/certification/proven expertise in Financial and Management accounting and/or Financial Consolidation beneficial
  • Experience with Agile/DevOps methodologies; Certification is a plus.
