The opportunity:
We are looking for a skilled Project Manager with strong vendormanagement experience to lead outsourced/third-party software projects. This includes requirement definition, contract execution oversight, delivery assurance, integration with internal systems, and validating that thirdparty outputs meet quality, security, and compliance standards.
How you'll make an impact:
Manage third-party vendors throughout the project lifecycle from onboarding to delivery. Define scope, functional requirements, acceptance criteria, and SLAs.
Monitor contract compliance, performance benchmarks, and commercial terms. Ensure vendors follow agreed development frameworks, timelines, and quality standards.
Facilitate design reviews, code reviews, and technical validation sessions. Coordinate between internal stakeholders and vendor teams to address dependencies.
Validate deliverables for functionality, architecture alignment, cybersecurity, and data integrity. Ensure vendor activities meet regulatory, commercial, and organisational compliance guidelines.
Manage change requests, scope deviations, and risk mitigation plans. Oversee integration of vendor-developed modules into internal systems.
Ensure proper configuration, testing, and readiness for production deployment. Coordinate knowledge transfers, training sessions, and support documentation.
Provide clear updates to leadership on vendor performance, project status, risks, and financials.
Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background:
Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, or related discipline and at least 10+ years of related working experience managing outsourced or vendor-led software projects.
Expertise in vendor management, contract negotiation, SLA handling, and performance monitoring. Deep understanding of software development processes, integration technologies, and testing frameworks.
Experience managing multi-location, multi-vendor collaboration. Certification in PMP/PRINCE2 preferred.
Strong communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills. Evaluate and experiment with new tools and techniques to improve existing systems and processes.
Prior experience in industrial, utility, or manufacturing digital systems. Ability to evaluate vendor capabilities, processes, and technical readiness.
Strong analytical and risk management mindset. Ability to lead cross-functional internal teams while holding vendors accountable.
Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
