What You'll Do
The People Data and Analytics Director is a senior leader within the People/HR Digital Product Team, accountable for the technical design, engineering standards and delivery capability of a team delivering robust data products and analytics tools for BCG's People/HR function. This is a hands-on strategic role: you will partner with the Product Team Lead to set product priorities, architecture decisions, manage stakeholders, and scale the People data engineering and analytics capability. You will work closely with the Product Team Leads and Technology Leads on refining the data product roadmaps and the tech data strategy across Talent Management, Talent Acquisition and Core HR domains.
This role will also serve as the delivery owner for a new Rewards Data Product. This product, part of a larger Compensation and Benefits transformation program, will be central to compliance with new EU Pay Transparency legislation, while also delivering new insights into BCG's global compensation landscape, influencing strategic direction.
You will:
Drive release management and automation best practices
Ensure proper root cause analysis and remediation is executed during any incidents or outages
Work with vendors to augment team capacity and knowledge
What You'll Bring
You have a bachelor's degree and preferably an advanced degree. You have experience working in a global team, across cultures and time zones. You have extensive experience delivering enterprise data products and leading technical engineering teams, plus hands-on experience with cloud data platforms (e.g. Snowflake, Tableau) and modern data stack patterns (data modelling, ETL, data pipelines). You have excellent communication skills and the ability to influence. You are familiar with agile processes and willing to support others to make it real.
Who You'll Work With
This role is part of the People Data and Analytics team and will partner closely with the team's senior director, who brings a focus on business needs and strategy. The role will also work closely with the Compensation transformation program team, including the PMO, program sponsors and workstream leads. In addition, close collaboration is expected with HR and Data Product Teams, other functions (e.g. Finance, Risk, etc), Data Governance, and Architecture.
