We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Global Payroll Manager to lead and manage payroll operations across multiple international regions. This role ensures timely and accurate payroll processing in compliance with local laws and internal policies. The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise, leadership, and the ability to work across cultures and time zones.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee end-to-end global payroll operations across multiple countries and entities.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and international tax regulations, labor laws, and internal policies.
- Manage relationships with external payroll vendors and ensure SLAs and KPIs are met.
- Collaborate with Finance, HR, and Legal to ensure accurate employee data, benefits, and tax information.
- Reconcile payroll data and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Develop and implement global payroll processes and procedures to improve efficiency and compliance.
- Prepare and analyze payroll reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure proper accounting and posting of payroll entries into the financial systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday).
- Lead or support payroll-related audits, including SOX compliance where applicable.
- Stay updated on changes in international payroll legislation and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in payroll, with at least 2+ years managing global payroll operations.
- Strong knowledge of international payroll practices, tax laws, and statutory compliance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with analytics and reporting tools is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to manage stakeholders across different countries and cultures.
- CPP, CIPP, or similar payroll certifications are a plus.
