How You Will Contribute
The Global Mobility Manager – Asia-Pacific region will be responsible for managing and supporting international mobility and immigration processes for employees relocating to and working in Australia.
The successful candidate will ensure full compliance with Australian immigration regulations while delivering efficient, practical mobility solutions that enable business operations and workforce planning.
- Global Mobility & Immigration Management
- Proven experience in managing end-to-end immigration processes for employees relocating to Australia, including visa applications, renewals, transfers, and compliance monitoring.
- Strong hands-on expertise with Australian immigration pathways, including but not limited to Subclass 400-Temporary Work (Short Stay Specialist) and Subclass 482(Temporary Skill Shortage) visas.
- Demonstrated experience partnering with internal stakeholders to assess mobility needs and recommend appropriate visa options based on business requirements and compliance considerations.
- Proven ability to coordinate effectively with external immigration counsel and service providers to ensure accurate and timely visa processing.
- Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensuring the organization remains fully compliant with Australian immigration laws, sponsorship obligations, and regulatory requirements.
- Experience maintaining up-to-date knowledge of immigration policy changes and assess their impact on business operations and workforce mobility.
- Monitoring visa expiry timelines and manage renewal processes to avoid compliance risks or business disruption.
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to immigration cases and sponsorship requirements.
- Mobility Program Management
- Supported in designing and execution of global mobility policies and procedures related to international assignments and cross-border employment in Australia.
- Managing mobility processes including relocation coordination, assignment documentation, and stakeholder communication.
- Providing guidance to employees and managers on immigration processes, timelines, and requirements.
- Stakeholder Collaboration
- Acted as a key point of contact for HR, recruitment teams, business leaders, and employees regarding immigration and mobility matters.
- Worked with talent acquisition teams to support hiring of international talent requiring visa sponsorship.
- Implemented clear guidance and education to stakeholders on immigration processes, timelines, and compliance obligations.
- Process Improvement & Practical Solutions
- Identify opportunities to streamline immigration and mobility processes while maintaining compliance.
- Implemented practical and efficient solutions to support business needs in complex immigration scenarios.
- Improved internal mobility workflows, documentation practices, and communication processes
