Position Summary

We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Merchandiser – Custom Orders to manage the complete lifecycle of custom rug orders, from client briefing to final delivery. The ideal candidate should have experience in merchandising, especially in custom/bespoke products, textiles, home furnishings, or luxury design.

This role requires close coordination with clients, designers, production teams, artisans, and cross-functional departments to ensure timely execution and premium product quality.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage end-to-end execution of custom and bespoke rug orders.

* Coordinate with clients, designers, and internal teams to understand product specifications and requirements.

* Translate client briefs into actionable production plans.

* Handle sampling, costing, production timelines, and final delivery processes.

* Maintain order trackers, T&A (Time & Action) calendars, and coordination sheets.

* Conduct feasibility analysis related to techniques, materials, colors, and product dimensions.

* Ensure quality and compliance standards for all custom products.

* Support costing and pricing strategies while maintaining profitability.

* Collaborate with sales, marketing, and export teams for updates and approvals.

* Share post-delivery feedback and process improvement suggestions.

Required Qualifications & Skills

* Bachelor's degree in B.F Tech or relevant field.

* 3–4 years of experience in merchandising, preferably in textiles, home furnishings, luxury products, or bespoke manufacturing.

* Strong understanding of textile techniques, dyeing processes, materials, and handcrafted production methods.

* Knowledge of custom order workflows from briefing to delivery.

* Excellent communication and coordination skills in English and Hindi.

* Proficiency in:

* MS Excel

* Adobe Illustrator / Photoshop

* PLM or Order Management Systems

* Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

* Ability to manage multiple projects independently.

* Experience working with artisan-based or luxury production environments.
