To strengthen our global marketing team, we are looking for a GlobalMarketing Automation Specialist/ Manager who will take full ownership of our marketing automation platform HubSpot.
Your role
The GlobalMarketing Automation Specialist is a hands-on, execution-focused role responsible for reliably operating and continuously improving Lenze's marketing automation activities. The position ensures that campaigns, newsletters, and lead management processes are professionally and reliably executed in HubSpot, in close collaboration with our regional and global marketing, sales, and IT colleagues.
Reporting to the global Head of Marketing, this role is part of the Digital Marketing team as the sole HubSpot expert and Product Owner globally but also provides support for other ongoing digital projects and activities. It owns the day-to-day operation, configuration standards, and continuous optimization of HubSpot, while remaining execution-oriented rather than transformation-led.
The position combines hands‑on execution with clear product ownership, emphasizing stable day‑to‑day operations and step‑by‑step optimization of existing tools and processes.
Your responsibilities
HubSpot Product Ownership
- Act as the sole global Product Owner and expert for HubSpot
- Own platform configuration, standards, permissions, and governance
- Translate business requirements into workflows, properties, and lifecycle stages
- Ensure stable operations and incremental improvements of the platform
Campaign & Marketing Automation Execution
- Execute and maintain email campaigns, newsletters, and automation workflows
- Support global and regional campaigns from setup to rollout and monitoring
- Ensure quality, consistency, and timely execution of all activities
Lead Management & Reporting
- Own and continuously improve the global lead management process
- Ensure high data quality for contacts and leads
- Ensure reliable lead capture from campaigns and events and clean synchronization into HubSpot / CRM by owning and managing tools such as SnapAddy as part of the global lead management setup
- Create reports and dashboards to monitor campaign and lead performance
Collaboration & Compliance
- Act as an interface between marketing, sales operations, and IT
- Train regional marketing colleagues
- Document processes, standards, and best practices
- Ensure compliance with data protection and consent regulations (e.g. GDPR)
Your profile
- Degree or vocational training in marketing, communications, digital media, or a comparable field
- Minimum 3–7 years of experience in marketing automation, email marketing, or campaign execution
- Strong hands-on experience with marketing automation platforms, ideally HubSpot Marketing Hub
- Structured, reliable, and detail-oriented working style
- Strong sense of ownership and responsibility
- Very good English skills; German or other languages are a plus
