What You'll Do
- Perform functional, integration, and regression testing to ensure seamless operation across marketing automation systems and downstream platforms
- Validate Marketo configurations, campaign logic, templates, tokens, triggers, and workflows to ensure accurate and high-quality campaign execution
- Test and validate integrations with Microsoft Dynamics CRM and other martech platforms, including data syncs and audience flows
- Execute data validation and integrity testing across systems using complex SQL queries to ensure accuracy of audiences, campaign data, and reporting
- Validate REST APIs, payloads, and end-to-end system data flows across backend services and data pipelines
- Contribute to the design and execution of test plans, test strategies, and test cases aligned with agile delivery cycles
- Identify, log, track, and collaborate with development teams to resolve software defects, ensuring clear documentation and strong defect discipline
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through test automation, including regression and smoke testing
- Support UAT, cross-browser, and cross-device testing for emails, forms, websites, and CMS components
- Track and report QA KPIs such as test coverage, defect trends, hotfixes, and defect leakage
What You'll Bring
- Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Testing Life Cycle (STLC) within an agile framework
- Hands-on experience with Marketo, including configuration, campaign QA, templates, tokens, triggers, flows, and batch jobs
- Experience testing Microsoft Dynamics CRM integrations and familiarity navigating the platform for troubleshooting and validation
- Strong proficiency in SQL for data validation, audience verification, and sync testing across systems
- Experience validating REST APIs, backend services, and system integration points
- Familiarity with Python or other automation tools/frameworks for regression, smoke, or integration testing
- Experience writing test scenarios, test cases, executing tests, and performing structured defect reporting
- Working knowledge of Git for source control and collaboration
- Exposure to CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions
- Experience working in cloud environments such as Azure and/or AWS
- Understanding of data pipelines, data lakes, and end-to-end data flows across marketing technology ecosystems
Who You'll Work With
The Quality Engineer will primarily work with the Marketing Automation Squad, a team
focused on creating personalized, high-impact customer journeys through scalable
marketing technology solutions. In addition, the role will collaborate closely with CRM,
BCG.com, Global Marketing, other IT teams, and external vendors to ensure quality across
platforms, integrations, and data flows that support BCG's global marketing initiatives and
deliver a unified user experience.
