Job Description

Company Description

Pragcure is an India based AI first social impact organisation supplying high quality pharmaceuticals, medical consumables and devices to global institutional buyers, NGOs, hospitals, importers, and healthcare programs. We are expanding our presence across international humanitarian, institutional, and healthcare procurement markets.

This is a growth-stage company entering institutional and NGO procurement ecosystems globally. You will be a part of our Startup Core team — with real ownership, real impact, and a clear path to building a team as we scale.

Role Description

A mid-level International BD professional with 4–7 years of experience in healthcare tenders including pharma and medical consumables & devices supplies globally. Not a strategist who delegates execution. Not a coordinator who waits for instructions. The person who can independently identify an opportunity, research the right contact and client and handle end to end client engagement without losing focus.

What You Will Do

1. International & Institutional Business Development

Identify and approach international NGOs, UN agencies, bilateral health programs, procurement offices, importers, and institutional buyers across target geographies

Build and manage a structured, documented global sales pipeline in CRM

Conduct deep market and account research across target countries: the right organisations, the right contacts, the right timing

Generate qualified leads through LinkedIn, direct email outreach, procurement portals and direct relationship building

Develop sales and market entry strategies with budget recommendations for senior management

2. Tender & Procurement Support

Monitor RFQs, tenders, and procurement opportunities on global platforms and bilateral health program databases

Prepare and coordinate full tender response packages: product documentation, certifications, pricing submissions, and cover letters

Lead quotation preparation and product-to-tender mapping independently

Maintain awareness of procurement calendars for major donors such as Global Fund, USAID, WHO, UNICEF Supply Division, DG-ECHO and bilateral health programs

3. Relationship Management

Build long-term relationships with procurement and sourcing stakeholders at institutional buyers — not transactional, but value adding

Coordinate with internal QA, regulatory, logistics, and management teams for timely, accurate responses

Maintain full CRM pipeline discipline — every contact, every follow-up, every stage documented

4. Strategic Contribution

Identify new market opportunities, target geographies, and partnership channels

Build and document the BD playbook as you work — your processes should be replicable and scalable

Contribute to positioning, product-market fit, and pricing strategy for key geographies

Core Skills

Independently draft RFQ responses, cold emails, and product submission documentation in professional English — without editorial support

Deep understanding of institutional procurement: who decides, who recommends, how long it takes, how to navigate it

Proficiency with procurement portals such as UNGM, DG Market, USAID, MOH databases

Ability to read a tender document and assess product fit, certification requirements, and submission feasibility

Research capability: can map an unknown country market — organisations, contacts, volumes — quickly and accurately

Excel/CRM discipline: you own your pipeline documentation. This is not optional.

Familiarity with product certifications: EUGMP, PICs GMP, CE marking, ISO 13485, WHO prequalification

This role is NOT suitable for:

Retail pharma / Medical Representative (MR) profiles | Purely domestic channel sales backgrounds | Aggressive short-cycle sales professionals | Candidates who need pre-qualified inbound leads
