Role Overview

We are seeking a highly capable and internationally experienced Global Events & Travel Manager to oversee all travel and event operations for the CEO, and the CXO group. This role spans personal and professional travel, end-to-end itinerary management, global events and trade show participation, offsites, and strategic optimisation of travel partnerships, loyalty programmes, and travel perks.

The ideal candidate is exceptionally organised, discreet, proactive, and capable of managing complex, time-sensitive travel and event arrangements with ease, balance, and foresight.

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Travel Operations (Leadership Team)

A. CEO & Family Travel (Personal and Professional)

Manage all travel arrangements for the CEO, including flights, hotels, ground transport, concierge services, and full itinerary planning.

Build personalised leisure holidays and professional itineraries end-to-end.

Ensure smooth execution, comfort, discretion, and proactive issue resolution.

B. Leadership Travel (CXO Group)

Coordinate domestic and international travel for senior leaders.

Align itineraries with meetings, work schedules, and operational needs.

Provide travel optimisation recommendations where relevant.

C. Visa Management, Insurance & Travel Compliance

Coordinate visas, renewals, documentation, appointments, and approvals.

Maintain a database of visa statuses, expiry dates, requirements, and supporting documents.

Arrange travel insurance, medical cover, and destination-specific compliance.

Ensure all travel adheres to immigration, health, and regulatory requirements.

D. Loyalty Programmes, Miles & Points Management

Manage and optimise airline miles, hotel points, and credit card reward ecosystems.

Build strategies to maximise accrual, prevent expiration, and secure the best-value redemptions.

Identify opportunities for:

Status upgrades

Complimentary elite services

More efficient routing options

Ensure annual tier statuses are maintained or upgraded.

E. Central Travel Calendar & Strategic Advisory

Maintain a consolidated, real-time travel calendar for the CEO and leadership team.

Provide strategic advice on:

Routing and timings

Destination selection

Seasonal considerations

Experience recommendations

Balance efficiency, comfort, time, and cost in all travel decisions.

F. Airline & Hotel Partnerships

Build and manage relationships with global and regional airlines, hotel groups, and boutique hospitality brands.

Negotiate preferential corporate rates, upgrades, flexible cancellation terms, and value-added benefits.

Maintain a global network of preferred travel partners.

2. Offsite Planning & Execution

Own the complete lifecycle of leadership offsites, including destination research, vendor negotiations, logistics, travel coordination, content planning, and on-ground execution.

Manage budgets, contracting, risk, and guest experience.

3. Events, Exhibitions & Trade Show Management

Identify relevant events, exhibitions, and trade shows for brand presence.

Advise whether participation, sponsorship, or booth/desk presence is strategically beneficial.

Build and manage a participation checklist, including:

Booth/desk setup

Branding, collateral, and merchandise

Staffing and briefing schedules

Logistics, accommodation, and equipment transport

Lead capture and post-event tracking

Manage registrations, vendor contracts, production, hospitality, on-ground execution, and post-event reporting.

Establish relationships with event organisers and venue partners.

Skills & Experience Required

715 years experience in global travel management, events management, HNI/family office travel, or premium hospitality partnerships.

Strong experience handling VIP itineraries and international event operations.

Deep knowledge of loyalty programmes (airline miles, hotel status, credit card rewards).

Strong negotiation skills across travel and event ecosystems.

Outstanding organisational ability and multi-tasking skills.

High discretion, professionalism, and service orientation.

Ability to operate across time zones and manage urgent last-minute changes.

Tech-savvy with experience using travel platforms, concierge tools, event systems, and itinerary apps.

Success Metrics

Seamless, error-free travel experience for CEO, family, and CXO group.

Airline, hotel, and event partnerships established within 36 months.

Significant optimisation in miles/points accrual and redemption value.

Preferential corporate rates and benefits secured across travel partners.

Successful execution of events, exhibitions, and offsites with measurable ROI.

Proactive planning leading to reduced last-minute escalations.

Travel and events operations running autonomously, with minimal CEO involvement.
