Job Description
- Drive the delivery strategy to align with business goals, leading teams to ensure on-time and high-quality service delivery.
- Oversee RFP identification and guide teams in developing technical and financial proposals to meet client needs and company goals.
- Manage end-to-end project delivery, ensuring adherence to scope, timelines, and budgets while optimising resources.
- Own P&L responsibilities, collaborate with finance on revenue forecasts, budgets, and cost management, and report key metrics to leadership.
- Oversee all operational and strategic planning, including fostering innovation, planning projects, and organising and negotiating the allocation of resources.
- Promote a culture of high performance and continuous improvement that values learning and quality.
- Mentor and develop a direct team, managing work allocation, training, problem resolution, performance evaluation, and the building of an effective team dynamic.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Global Delivery Head should have:
- A degree in Engineering, Information Technology or Computer Science along with a master's in computer science or MBA preferred.
- 25+ years of overall experience with a strong track record in delivering large scale complex programs to execution coming from a Products and Services industry.
- Long-standing experience of managing and delivering projects in the government sector is a must have.
- Expertise in managing the full delivery life cycle, from RFP and Bid processes through to execution, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and in top quality.
- Strong project management skills with experience in PM tools, IT service delivery methodologies and framework.
- Excellent communication, leadership, stakeholder management and negotiation skills to work with business stakeholders, vendors and clients.
- A proven track record in managing large, diverse teams.
- Strong financial and business acumen.
