Position Title: MD/CEO - GCC Business

Location: New Delhi

Experience required: 15+ years

Role Overview

We are looking for a seasoned leader to head our Global Capability Center (GCC) business as we expand into new territories and capabilities. This is a pivotal, entrepreneurial leadership role with end-to-end responsibility for building and scaling a multi-functional GCC, supporting variety of verticals such as accounting, legal, customer experience (call centers), analytics, business process shared services.

The ideal candidate is a technically strong leader with deep experience in setting up or running GCCs, ideally across multiple domains and geographies. You will drive strategy, business development, operations, talent, governance, and service delivery end to end.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Business Development

  • Develop and execute the vision, strategy, and roadmap for setting up a world-class GCC.
  • Identify and secure business opportunities across functional areas like finance, legal, customer service, and technology.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, group businesses, and external clients to attract outsourcing mandates into the GCC.

GCC Setup & Operations

  • Lead the end-to-end setup of the GCC including infrastructure, technology, process design, governance models, and operational SLAs.
  • Establish frameworks for service delivery, risk management, compliance, and data security.
  • Drive digital transformation and automation to enhance operational efficiency and scalability.

P&L Ownership & Governance

  • Proposed for relevant acquisitions, own the P&L for the GCC business and ensure sustainable, profitable growth.
  • Monitor service quality, customer satisfaction, and delivery metrics.

Present regular performance updates to the Board and ensure alignment with group strategy.

Team & Talent Leadership

  • Build a high-performing leadership team and delivery workforce across verticals and locations.
  • Champion a performance-driven, innovation-led culture aligned with global best practices.
  • Partner with HR to define org structure, talent acquisition strategies, career paths, and capability building.

Candidate Profile

  • 15+ years of experience, with at least 5 years in senior leadership roles in setting up and / operating at large scale.
  • Proven track record of setting up, scaling, or transforming GCC operations, preferably across accounting, legal, or customer service domains.
  • Technical background (engineering / technology) with strong understanding of automation, AI, and digital operations.
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach and experience in setting up GCC & P&L management.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or global leadership programs are a plus.
  • Exposure to global markets and familiarity with regulatory and outsourcing landscapes.
  • Experience working in or with BPOs, KPOs, consulting firms, or multinational shared service centers.
