Role Purpose
The Global Business Process Owner (GBPO) for Procure-to-Pay is responsible for
end-to-end ownership of the P2P process globally, ensuring standardization, compliance, and continuous improvement across all regions. This role drives transformation initiatives, optimizes process efficiency, and acts as the primary governance authority for P2P.
Key Responsibilities
- Process Governance: Define and maintain global P2P process standards (purchase requisition, PO creation, goods receipt, invoice processing, payment). Process flow chart creation & updates
- Ensure compliance with internal controls statutory and tax regulations.
- Transformation & Optimization: Lead global standardization, automation, and digitization initiatives. Drive ERP and tool integration (SAP, Oracle, Coupa) and implement KPIs for performance monitoring.
- Risk & Compliance: Establish robust controls for vendor master data and fraud prevention. Ensure adherence to audit and regulatory requirements.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with Procurement, Supplychain, Finance, IT, and regional teams. Act as escalation point for operational and system issues. Lead change management and training globally.
