Position Summary: The ideal candidate will ensure accurate and timely financial consolidation across multiple business units/entities and deliver insightful MIS reports for strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure timely month-end and year-end GL closing activities.
- Consolidate financial data from multiple business units/entities in compliance with accounting standards (IND-AS / IFRS / US GAAP).
- Perform intercompany reconciliations and eliminate intercompany transactions.
- Manage and maintain chart of accounts consistency across entities.
- Support statutory audit, internal audit, and compliance processes with relevant GL data.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual MIS reports including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.
- Analyze variances between budgeted and actual financial results and provide commentary.
- Provide financial insights and dashboards for business reviews and management decision-making.
- Work closely with FP&A team to align MIS with forecasting and budgeting cycles.
- Streamline and automate consolidation and MIS processes using ERP and reporting tools.
- Ensure robust internal controls and adherence to financial policies and procedures.
- Identify process gaps and implement improvements in reporting and consolidation practices.
Requirements:
- CA with minimum 2-5 years experience in accounts & finance.
- Experience in MIS reporting and financial analysis.
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards such as IFRS, or US GAAP.
- Experience with intercompany reconciliations and elimination entries.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Process improvement mindset with the ability to implement automation and controls.
