Job Summary

The DevOps Engineering Lead will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing CI/CD solutions with a strong focus on GitHub Enterprise and GitHub Actions. The role requires hands-on expertise in DevOps automation, infrastructure provisioning, containerization, and emerging Agentic AI solutions, along with the ability to mentor teams and drive DevSecOps best practices across the SDLC.

The candidate will work under the guidance of senior architects while independently managing at least one Agile team and contributing to large-scale DevOps transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

CI/CD & DevOps Engineering

  • Design, implement, configure, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and other CI/CD tools.
  • Translate customer and business requirements into DevOps component designs and automation solutions.
  • Develop, test, debug, document, and support DevOps tools, pipelines, and automation components.
  • Reuse, enhance, or reconfigure existing DevOps components for new use cases.
  • Optimize DevOps processes for efficiency, cost, quality, and reliability.
  • Validate solutions with stakeholders and support integration and commissioning activities.

Automation & Infrastructure

  • Automate build, deployment, installation, and configuration activities using scripts and automation frameworks.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning on cloud and on-prem environments under architectural guidance.
  • Develop and maintain scripts using Python, Shell, PowerShell, Groovy, or Perl.
  • Support repository management and migration automation using Git-based tools.

Cloud, Containers & DevSecOps

  • Configure and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Design and manage containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Implement security best practices within CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps workflows.
  • Support KPI improvements and DevSecOps metrics such as change failure rate, defect leakage, and regression efficiency.

Agentic AI Solutions

  • Design and deploy agentic AI solutions with minimal human intervention.
  • Build and orchestrate autonomous and multi-agent systems using frameworks such as LangChain, AutoGPT, or OpenAI Functions.
  • Integrate AI agents with APIs, real-world systems, and enterprise knowledge bases.

Collaboration, Mentoring & Leadership

  • Guide and mentor junior DevOps engineers.
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to DevOps standards and best practices.
  • Work closely with development, QA, operations, and platform teams in Agile environments.
  • Prepare and share status reports with senior stakeholders.
  • Create training materials, SOPs, and onboarding documentation for DevOps tools and platforms.

  • Relevant DevOps or GitHub certifications are an advantage
