GitHub Administrator (M)

Role Summary

Owns enterprise GitHub governance, security, and platform configuration.

Key Responsibilities

  • GitHub org/repo/enterprise administration
  • Define and enforce RBAC, branch protection, repo standards
  • Manage GitHub Advanced Security enablement
  • Govern integrations with CI/CD and IAM
  • Lead GHES → GHEC migration strategy
  • Handle L3 escalations and vendor engagement
