Job Description

Gnapi Technologies is aggressively expanding its GIS and Geospatial Solutions business and is looking for a high-energy, target-driven Software / GIS Sales Consultant who can own the complete sales cycle and consistently close high-value deals.

This role is for hunters, not order-takers. You will be responsible for generating new opportunities, positioning GIS and enterprise software solutions, closing business, and growing strategic accounts across Utilities, Telecom, Infrastructure, and Smart Cities.

Location: Bengaluru / Hyderabad

Department: Sales & Business Development GIS & Geospatial Solutions

Employment Type: Full-Time

Education: Bachelor's degree in any discipline (Geography / GIS / IT / Engineering preferred)

MBA in Sales & Marketing (preferred)

Experience

  • Proven experience in Software / IT / Enterprise Solution Sales; GIS / Geospatial sales experience is a strong advantage
  • 1-5 Years

Requirements

A consultative sales professional with strong enterprise selling capability, confidence to engage senior stakeholders, and a passion for closing revenue-driven deals in the GIS / Geospatial domain.

Must Haves

  • Strong experience in software / IT / enterprise solution sales
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to manage the complete sales lifecycle from lead generation to closure
  • Experience working closely with technical and delivery teams
  • Highly self-motivated, aggressive, and results-focused mindset
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings and business development
  • Strong interest in learning and selling GIS / Geospatial software solutions

Good To Have

  • Hands-on exposure to GIS platforms such as ArcGIS, QGIS, GE Smallworld, IQGeo
  • Prior experience selling GIS, Geospatial, Utilities, Telecom, or Infrastructure solutions
  • Existing relationships with enterprise or government customers

What You'll Do

  • Proactively hunt and close new business for GIS and geospatial solutions
  • Drive revenue growth through consultative selling of enterprise GIS solutions
  • Conduct executive-level product demos, presentations, and solution workshops
  • Understand customer challenges and position Gnapi's offerings as strategic solutions
  • Build, manage, and convert a strong sales pipeline
  • Own deal closures and ensure smooth handover to delivery teams
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts, CRM data, and pipeline reporting
  • Monitor competitors, market trends, and emerging GIS technologies
