Job Description

Qualification

Master's degree in GIS, Geoinformatics, Remote Sensing, Geography, Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, Data Science, or a related field. GIS certification is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and manage GIS databases.
Perform spatial analysis and mapping.
Prepare climate risk, vulnerability, and land-use maps.
Integrate remote sensing and geospatial datasets.
Develop Web-GIS dashboards and decision-support tools.
Analyze demographic, infrastructure, and environmental datasets.
Support emissions and climate analytics.
Establish data quality standards.
Develop metadata and data governance protocols.
Produce thematic maps and visualizations.
Support scenario modelling and forecasting.
Train government officials on GIS applications.
Coordinate with sector specialists.
Prepare technical reports and spatial outputs.
Support monitoring dashboards.
