Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented GIS Business Development Executive to drive business growth for our geospatial and GIS services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing client relationships, preparing proposals and tenders, and supporting the sales cycle from lead generation to project closure.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities for GIS, mapping, surveying, remote sensing, and geospatial solutions.
- Generate and qualify leads through market research, networking, referrals, and industry events.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with government departments, private organizations, and strategic partners.
- Prepare and submit tender documents, EOIs, RFPs, RFQs, and bid proposals.
- Coordinate with technical teams to develop competitive technical and commercial proposals.
- Create professional presentations, business proposals, and marketing materials for client meetings and business pitches.
- Conduct client meetings, product demonstrations, and business discussions to understand project requirements.
- Track tender opportunities through government and private procurement portals.
- Negotiate commercial terms and support contract finalization activities.
- Maintain sales pipelines, customer databases, and business development reports.
- Conduct market analysis and competitor research to identify emerging business opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful project execution and client satisfaction.
Required Skills
- Strong business development and client relationship management skills.
- Knowledge of GIS, Remote Sensing, Mapping, Surveying, or Geospatial Technologies.
- Experience in tender preparation, bid management, and proposal writing.
- Excellent presentation creation and communication skills.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
- Ability to understand technical solutions and translate them into business opportunities.
- Good negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and achieve business targets.
- Experience working with government tenders and procurement processes will be an added advantage.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in GIS, Geospatial Services, Surveying, Drone Technology, Remote Sensing, Infrastructure, Agriculture, or related industries.
- Familiarity with geospatial applications and industry trends.
- Strong understanding of business proposal preparation and documentation.
