GIS Analyst

We are looking for an experienced GIS Analyst to join our team and work across our climate, agriculture, nature-based solutions, carbon, and drone-based geospatial projects.

This role is ideal for someone who can independently handle GIS analysis, remote sensing, drone data processing, spatial analytics, and mapping while working closely with project, field, and drone operations teams.

Location:: Hyderabad / Project LocationsExp:: 4–7 years

Responsibilities:

• Manage and analyse GIS and spatial datasets for agriculture, climate and environmental projects.
• Perform spatial analysis, mapping, digitization, georeferencing and data validation.
• Analyse satellite imagery and generate NDVI, land-use/land-cover and change-detection outputs.
• Process drone/UAV data and generate orthomosaics, DEM, DSM, point clouds and other GIS outputs.
• Support MRV (Monitoring, Reporting & Verification) for climate, carbon and nature-based solution projects.
• Integrate GPS/GNSS, field survey, drone and satellite data.
• Prepare high-quality thematic, project and monitoring maps.
• Work closely with drone pilots, field teams, project managers and technical teams.
• Maintain GIS databases, metadata and project documentation.
• Develop and improve GIS workflows, SOPs and quality-control processes.
• Support automation of GIS workflows using Python/ModelBuilder where applicable.
• Required Skills:Strong hands-on experience in ArcGIS / ArcGIS Pro and/or QGIS
• GIS & spatial data management
• Remote sensing & satellite imagery analysis
• Spatial analysis and cartography
• GPS/GNSS data processing
• Raster & vector data processing
• Strong understanding of coordinate systems and projections

• Python for GIS
• Pix4D / DJI Terra / Agisoft Metashape
• PostgreSQL/PostGIS
• LiDAR / Point Cloud processing
• Drone photogrammetry
• Experience in agriculture, agroforestry, carbon, climate-tech or environmental projects

Qualification:Bachelor's/Master's degree in GIS, Geoinformatics, Remote Sensing, Geography, Geomatics,

Environmental Science, Agriculture, Civil Engineering or a related field.
