Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled GIS Analyst & Drone Image Processing Specialist to manage geospatial data processing, drone survey outputs, orthomosaic generation, DEM/DSM creation, mapping, and spatial analysis for infrastructure, mining, utility, construction, and survey projects. The candidate should have hands-on experience in UAV data processing software, GIS platforms, CAD integration, and survey workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
GIS & Mapping
- Process and analyze geospatial datasets using GIS software.
- Create thematic maps, utility maps, topographic maps, contour maps, and asset maps.
- Perform spatial analysis and data validation.
- Manage coordinate systems, projections, and georeferencing.
- Integrate survey data from DGPS/Total Station/LiDAR/UAV platforms.
- Prepare GIS databases and maintain spatial records.
- Convert and manage SHP, KML, KMZ, GeoJSON, DXF, and CAD data.
Drone Image Processing
- Process drone imagery using photogrammetry software.
- Generate:
- Orthomosaic maps
- DSM/DTM/DEM
- Point clouds
- 3D models
- Contours
- Volume calculations
- Perform image stitching and aerial triangulation.
- Conduct quality checks on UAV datasets.
- Support drone survey planning and data management.
- Handle RTK/PPK drone data workflows.
Survey & Data Management
- Coordinate with field survey teams.
- Verify GCP and checkpoint accuracy.
- Prepare survey deliverables and client reports.
- Maintain project documentation and backups.
- Ensure data accuracy and compliance with project standards.
Required SkillsTechnical Skills
- Strong knowledge of GIS concepts and spatial analysis.
- Experience in drone photogrammetry workflows.
- Understanding of coordinate systems and map projections.
- Knowledge of survey methodologies and topographic mapping.
- Experience in utility mapping, corridor mapping, or infrastructure projects is preferred.
