Role Description As a GET – Mechanical/Electrical Engineer at boon, you will support the design, testing, and optimization of home water purification systems and related components. On a day-to-day basis, you will assist in equipment maintenance, perform inspections, analyze system performance, and help resolve mechanical and electrical issues to ensure reliable operation. You will work closely with senior engineers to prepare CAD models, documentation, and test reports, while collaborating with cross-functional teams such as production, quality, and R&D. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram, requiring active participation in hands-on engineering activities and continuous learning in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
  • Foundational mechanical engineering skills, including understanding of mechanical systems, materials, and basic design principles.
  • Ability to perform maintenance and inspection tasks on mechanical and electrical equipment, ensuring reliability and safety.
  • Proficiency or familiarity with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for creating and modifying engineering drawings and models.
  • Exposure to automotive or similar engineering domains, with transferable skills in components, assemblies, and system diagnostics.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and a willingness to learn from feedback.
  • Comfort working in an on-site engineering environment, with effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Interest in water purification, consumer products, or smart home technologies; internship or project experience in related fields is an advantage.
