Job Title: Estimation Engineer (Fresher)
Department: Estimation
Location: Sonale, Bhiwandi ( Factory)
Reports To: Estimation Head / Manager
Key Responsibilities
- Study and understand technical drawings, BOQs (Bill of Quantities), and client requirements.
- Assist in preparing cost estimates, quotations, and comparative statements.
- Support in analyzing material requirements, labor costs, and production timelines.
- Coordinate with the Purchase and Production departments to gather price and process-related inputs.
- Maintain and update estimation-related data, records, and MIS.
- Prepare basic reports, costing sheets, and presentations as directed by seniors.
- Support the team in tendering activities and customer submissions.
- Learn industry standards, estimation practices, and costing methods.
Key Skills Required
- Basic knowledge of engineering drawings and manufacturing processes.
- Good analytical and numerical ability.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Qualification
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech (Mechanical / Industrial / Production Engineering or related field).
- Freshers or up to 1 year of experience in estimation/costing.
