Supporting the team in geotechnical engineering activities, including coordination, planning, and execution of engineering projects.
- Work closely with senior engineers and vendors to understand project requirements, analyse geotechnical data, and develop reports with recommendations, including soil profiles, site characterization, and foundation design.
- Contribute to the design of foundations, retaining walls, slope stability solutions, and other geotechnical structures by formulating appropriate engineering approaches.
- Support senior engineers in preparing geotechnical reports, recommendations, calculations, and drawings, as well as reviewing technical documents received from clients.
- Perform basic geotechnical modelling and calculations under the supervision of senior engineers.
- Assist in managing project design and deliverables, coordinate with the design team, and provide guidance to junior engineers and modelers.
- Ensure quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) by reviewing work progress and modifying work plans as needed.
- Monitor and manage time allocation for project tasks to prevent delays and ensure timely completion.
- Explore opportunities to automate repetitive tasks and contribute to computational design efforts to improve efficiency.
