Job Summary:

We are going to hire one Project Research Associate under the MDM to work on agricultural

applications as a geospatial data analyst. The work will involve combined use of UAV and satellite

datasets for agricultural monitoring across Maharashtra with an aim of providing farm level agro

advisories. The selected person must coordinate with domain experts to perform the geospatial

analysis as required. The initial appointment will be for 89 days with a provision for extension till the project duration based on performance. Candidates who are highly motivated, academically sound and show consistently excellent performance after joining will also be encouraged to register for PhD program (Civil Engineering Department, Remote Sensing specialization) at IIT Bombay (based on performance).

Eligibility:

M.E./M.Tech. in Remote Sensing/Geoinformatics with any UG engineering degree.

Skillsets:

• Programming skills in Python.
• Experience in using Google Earth Engine.
• Experience in AI/ML tools for Geospatial data analysis
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Desirable:

• Proficiency in English, Marathi and Hindi (read, write and speak).
