Job Summary
Design develop and optimize geospatial applications using Java Springboot and Angular for an MNC client focusing on scalable microservices hosted on AWS in a hybrid work model. Collaborate with product teams to deliver secure resilient and maintainable solutions that support location based decision making and create measurable value for customers and society.
Responsibilities
- Develop geospatial application components using Core Java and Springboot to process spatial data efficiently and deliver reliable location aware features to end users.
- Implement robust microservices with Springboot Microservices to support modular geospatial workflows that can scale with growing data volumes and user demand.
- Build responsive front end interfaces with Angular that present complex geospatial information in clear visual formats to support informed decision making for customers.
- Integrate geospatial services and APIs into Java based back end systems to enable map rendering spatial queries and geographic analytics across multiple business domains.
- Optimize performance of geospatial data processing pipelines in Java by tuning algorithms managing memory use and minimizing network calls for large spatial datasets.
- Configure AWS resources such as compute storage and networking services to host Java and Angular components in a secure and resilient cloud environment that supports hybrid work arrangements.
- Implement monitoring logging and alerting for microservices and geospatial workflows to rapidly detect issues and maintain high availability of critical applications.
- Collaborate with product owners architects and quality specialists to refine requirements define technical designs and validate that geospatial solutions meet functional and nonfunctional expectations.
- Apply secure coding practices across Java Springboot and Angular components to protect sensitive location data and align with enterprise security and compliance standards.
- Participate in code reviews and continuous integration activities to improve code quality maintain consistency across services and reduce defects before production deployment.
- Document geospatial service interfaces data contracts and deployment procedures in a clear manner that supports efficient onboarding of new team members and smooth knowledge transfer.
- Troubleshoot production incidents related to geospatial features by analyzing logs replicating issues and implementing sustainable fixes that reduce recurrence and downtime.
- Contribute to the evolution of geospatial and microservices best practices within the organization by sharing insights proposing improvements and adopting modern patterns that benefit future projects.
Qualifications
- Demonstrate strong proficiency in Core Java and Java Springboot with several years of experience delivering production grade applications in enterprise environments.
- Show proven experience developing and consuming Springboot Microservices that are resilient scalable and optimized for stateless operation.
- Apply solid skills in Angular to create intuitive web interfaces that allow users to explore filter and interpret geospatial data effectively.
- Bring practical hands on experience with AWS services relevant for hosting Java microservices and Angular workloads in a secure and cost efficient manner.
- Exhibit understanding of geospatial concepts such as coordinates projections spatial queries and mapping services applied within Java based solutions.
- Utilize knowledge of RESTful service design JSON data handling and asynchronous communication patterns to integrate distributed geospatial components.
- Display strong debugging problem solving and analytical abilities that support rapid resolution of complex issues in hybrid cloud and on premises environments.
Certifications Required
