Geospatial Data Engineer

Job location - Bangalore

Quick joiners are preferred

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable geospatial data pipelines supporting site selection, feasibility studies, and early-stage project screening,

- Process and integrate large-scale vector, raster, and imagery datasets (satellite, DEM, land use, environmental, infrastructure, constraints),

- Build optimized spatial databases and data models using PostgreSQL/PostGIS, ensuring performance, reliability, and traceability,

- Implement ETL/ELT workflows for geospatial data ingestion, transformation, and quality control across heterogeneous data sources,

- Orchestrate geospatial data workflows in a cloud environment (Azure), leveraging distributed processing frameworks where required,

- Ensure data governance, metadata management, cataloging, lineage, and compliance with enterprise data standards,

- Expose geospatial data and analytics through APIs and services (e.g. OGC standards) for all branches applications and stakeholders,

- Contribute to technical documentation, architecture design, and best practices for geospatial data engineering.

Must have : PostgreSQL/PostGIS, Python, FME (Safe Software), Azure Data Factory, QGIS or ArcGIS Pro
